The Tall Ships Hobart Gathering was held 20th – 25th September 2013, produced and managed by the same organisation that has successfully produced the Australian Wooden Boat Festival for the last 20 years – AWBF Inc.

The five-day Tall Ships program included ship tours, special sailings, exhibitions and activities in Princes Wharf One, entertainment, a Grand Parade, fine Tasmanian food and wines, a special schools program and much more. Featuring vessels such as; Oosterschelde (Netherlands, 50m three masted schooner), Europa (Netherlands, 55m, three masted barque), Young Endeavour (Australia, 44m, two masted brigantine), Lord Nelson (UK, 55m, three masted barque), Dewa Ruci (Indonesia, 58m, three masted brigantine), Soren Larson (Australia, 44m, two masted brigantine), Tecla (Netherlands, 38m, two masted ketch), James Craig (Australia, 55m, three masted barque), Lady Nelson (Tasmania, 16m, two masted brig), Windeward Bound (Tasmania, 33m, two masted brigantine) and Enterprize (Australia, 27m, two masted topsail schooner). It was the biggest gathering of Tall Ships in Australia since 1988.
