Dave's Boat Shed
What was once an old apple box making shed has now become home to Dave, an unassuming maritime master of all trades. With rafters lined with planks and clinkers, the place is a bit overwhelming – there is just too much to look at. One corner of the shed features a rare cotton caulk machine homemade by Dave, while another end of the shed hosts a wooden yacht Dave saved from ruin. You will tour the sheds with Dave and hear the stories of each project that has come through his doors, both large and small. Anastasia may show you traditional rigging and Matt and Iefke will show you how they’ve built a wooden boat called Tarkine from nothing.
